hardest song to try and duplicate for me as Edge was just recorded noodling. There wasnt really any structure or thought of a song so trying to copy somthing that was spur of the moment was hard....but fun :) Gear was my 79Blackie/Axefx/ac30(loud) really loud. I actually clipped a bit

  • Hi Mick,

Could you please tell me if the guitar is plugged in front of the Axe or in the rear input ? How do you achieve unity gain please ? I'll be getting an AC30HH very soon and still got the Axe Fx !!! :+))))

  • @billou3535 plugged into front input. not sure what you mean by unity gain. Start with no effects and add one at a time making sure the vol stays the same when engaging any effect on or off so the vol always stays the same. I run a mono chain

  • This is your best video so far Mick. You actually recreated 4th of July, that's something to be damn proud of. Your shimmer and harmonics, and delay, everything was flawless. I'd love to be able to play that song like you do.

Keep it up! continue to make covers of these really obscure U2 songs!!!!

  • Thanks ! I appreciate the kind words

  • Genius at work. Great sound from the Kinmans and Axe. EWB

  • Thanks EWB!

  • brilliant Mick, I tried this song years ago, you got it down to a tee m8 ^5

  • congrats, great performance!

  • Awesome! How long did it take you to learn the whole song?

  • I have watched many of your videos so far and I have always been impressed. Compared to many others here you do not just have the sound, but you really feel what you play. Perfect. This one is another masterpiece. Walk on!
