@Baumi75 No, I appreciate the criticism; I hadn't considered any of that before. You're right about the video quality. It has quite a bit of artifacting because it was uploaded before the google buy out. The actual version I submitted to the contest is a bit clearer however. The shaky parts are probably the sped up walking or driving scenes. I used a tripod for most of it though.

(Cont.) In terms of content: I like how you focused on different places, but the order seems random - and most shots are completely devoid of people, which makes them less interesting.

You probably could make the film shorter and a bit faster, and you should give it a proper ending, too. As it is, it just stops without even a fade-out for the music.

Sorry, I don't mean to belittle the work you put into it.

Keep shooting videos - you can't become great without making mistakes along the way.

I didn't vote on it, and I'm not going to, but if you're asking for what might turn off people:

I guess part of it is the shaky camerawork, and another *huge* problem is the video compression - especially with all the pans and camera movement. High compression levels make that all look very blurry.

Of course, the video is almost 3 years old now, and at that time online video wasn't quite what it is today, so you might not have had a choice there.

Haha, Tulsa actually is building a new Driller's Stadium downtown. I don't know if that was under construction yet when you left that comment. I didn't see anything wrong with the old stadium. I hate some of the pointless contruction here, like strip malls that have the same stores as the strip mall two miles down the road. What a convenience! Oh, and making a quicktrip every mile in every direction, as if I wouldn't have enough gas to drive one more mile to the next one.
