Mercury "Classic Fifty" 45 horsepower, 4-cylinder 2-stroke outboard engine running on engine stand. This is a 1987 model engine with low hours on it. it was on a 24 foot pontoon boat, and had been sitting for several years. The old owners said they bought it new and hardly used it. . After being completely serviced including new spark plugs, fresh lower unit oil (foot oil), new water pump impeller and a new starter soleniod it starts easy and runs good There is also a Mercury AutoBlend oil injection unit which is in very good condition. This motor was posted for sale on Craigs List in the Greenville, SC area and sold for $1000.

  • @t3rrur1sta Do you have any idea what you were trying to say here?

  • I have the identical motor. Have you ever had any problems when the motor is at low speeds. Mine keeps quitting on me, I'm thinking fuel pump.

  • @Aleoup Sorry, I can't help you. I never had this motor in the water before I sold it. I bought it used and got it running just to sell it, but I did have a Selok servise manual that was very informative.
