Silent Hill 2 Cutscenes 71 - Two Pyramid Head, Maria, Hotel

I've always wondered what Pyramid Head looked like without his mask. We'll never know for sure obviously (and that's probably for the better, makes him seem more badass). Somebody brought up an interesting theory, though--what if it's actually James beneath the mask? I like that theory, as I believe each demon James encounters represents a sin of his (Maria being the ultimate one). Pyramid Head, the immediate second, represents his murder...and there are two now since he killed Mary AND Eddie.

This has to be one of my top three favorite sequences in Silent Hill 2, especially if you include the fight itself. Excellent job lining up the start and finish of the video, that's very clean and accurate for when the video starts and stops in-game. Thanks for posting this!

the pyramid eads are like:

but shes like a ghost or something she dies like three times in this game and comes back to life like it was an illusion or something

maria is the sexual thoughts he has about mary so when his tensions die (she dies) and when he thinks about her again sexually she awakens once more, And pyramid head is his anger for maria slow but dramatic, u get it now?

You should see the new shattered memories. Maybe it's quiality can be compared to the SH 1 and SH3. But Sh2 is a masterpiece, it shows a story with really deep characters and argument. The story is really original and the enviroment is like having a trip into nightmare-land.

Agreed. I actually picked up Silent Hill 2 out of boredom and didn't really have any expectations for better or for worse...but WOW. Don't you love it when you read a book or see a movie or play a game without any expectations and it turns out to be spectacular?
