If we can get out to do some XC schooling there's a hunter trials I'd like to do (and not get eliminated at! 3rd time lucky maybe?? xD) otherwise just dressage and hopefully start show jumping again soon cos I have a friend who can give me lifts if I get confident enough! :D
And you??
I have an ottb, age 11 who is also learning to jump! Your horse did very well~ But isn't he a bit young? Vets say that most horses legs aren't sound for jumping until around 5 or 6 years old. Starting them too early can bring on some pretty big issues. If you do continue jumping him, I'd suggest only taking him over ground polls. Or at least nothing higher than a foot.

@IcyFoxish Thats neat! We always start our horses jumping young to introduce them and then give them time to develop. :) Burgandy has been out in a field with a few rides a month just relaxing :)
