The new Muppet Movie that's been released has brought back all kinds of memories of the first one. The original Muppet Movie is one of my most beloved movies ever. As a child I wore out the VCR tape copy of the movie and the record of the soundtrack. As an adult I can still recite whole sections of dialogue and sing all the songs. I'd intended this Musiter to be something Thanksgiving related, but all week my head has been filled with Gonzo.

In a way it is Thanksgiving related. The Muppets have given me such joy over my whole life that it makes perfect sense to add them to the list of things I am thankful for. Now if you'll excuse me I've got a bunch of helium balloons to fill.
