A salute to Japanese women! The first international, non-Caucasian beauty queen, the first non-White winners of the World Cup, and for that stunning, historic win over the USA women in softball which ranks as one of the most stunning upsets in Olympic history. Go Japan!

It is well documented in the early years of Miss Universe, Latinos bitched and moaned about how judges are biased against them...which made victories like those from Japan, the Philippines, and Thailand all the more sweeter. Asians don't want preferential treatment, they want to win on their own merits.

Riyo Mori kicked ass in the preliminaries and won the swimsuit competition the night of the Miss Universe pageant. She definitely deserved to win. You Latinos & others need to get a life & get over yourselves. Anyway, everyone believes that Kurara Chibana should've won the Miss Universe title in 2006, but that greasy, Zuleyka bitch from Puerto Rico won the title, so payback is motha fucka, isn't it? LOL

@mmokayy welll im from Colombia and to me that nigth miss universe 2007 the most beautiful girls were miss Brazil, and miss Japan... it wasnt a surprise that riyo won.... she is very pretty and has a nice body, plus a good personality....

Are you people completely retarded? Miss Japan 1959, was the first ever non-Caucasian woman to win Miss Universe. Japan made beauty pageant history. It was the first time a non-Caucasian woman won an international beauty pageant. Akiko Kojima is a Japanese name. What other name would it be? It's definitely not Chinese or Korean, for God's sake! The person who posted this video should have made that crystal clear, because there are too many retards out here.
