Hate crime laws for christians have been on the books for over 40 years.
Also included in the hate crime laws passed in the 60's was race and gender.

I don't think Christians have faced any where near as much hate as the gay community. We have had 8 murders and dozens of reported assaults in 2009 so far.

We will have our civil rights one day.
We will have the right to work, rent, and get a mortgage some day soon

The problem isn't Jesus folks...he was pretty clear about it. Love God, and love your neighbor (and he said everyone is your neighbor). It's humans that don't want to accept what he said. Love is not a hate crime.

I don't get it. When did hate become a Christian value? Jesus made it clear that love was the foundation upon which ALL of teh laws of the prophets was built. If you follow Jesus you are commanded to love EVERYONE, absolutely every single human on the face of the earth...without judgement. That right is reserved for God alone. In fact when it comes to those that you would call an enemy? Jesus said that you are not only to love them, but also to pray for them.

What the hell, they would only get charged with a hate crime, if they did something violent! Like killing someone! How is that taking away the christian "moral" values!?! It helps victims, and hopefully prevents hate crimes...What the hell is the matter with that?!
