When Anna really let go of Duke at that moment, I believe that she realize that she was still in love with Robert. The look on Anna face is very telling it’s like everything is suddenly clear to her and it fright her. They both are talking about the day they fell in love with one another and those feeling are back. When Robert and Anna return home he had no intention of marrying Kate no matter how hard he try to make it work between them he could not bring himself to do it in the end.

These two were t rying so hard to bury there feelings in the past it was preaty clear to me that they never stoped loving eachother. The only thing in there way was there pride the each didnt realize the other felt still the same if only they would of opened up with eachother and took another chance with there hearts.

LOL even now you can tell Robert and Anna were still inlove with eachother the only problem was Robert forgiving her for the past it seemed Anna always was waiting for him to forgive her. If he would of came out and Said I forgive ya Anna in Paris 87 they would of ended up together then when she was dreaming of him while with duke!

Well, Robert didn't exactly kick Katherine to the curb. It was the other way around. If she hadn't done it, he would have been perfectly happy to stay engaged to her, without ever watzing down the aisle.

These Anna/Robert scenes are beautiful. I had forgotten them. I remember thinking back then that would be only a matter of time before Robert to kick Katherine to the curb and reunited with Anna. It took longer than I thought that it would, but I never gave up hope.
