This movie is made from the trajectory of a molecular dynamics simulation on a DNA transistor system. The solid channel was cut from a SiO2 amorphous solid. The yellow regions show where the electric trapping fields are. Under a biasing electric field applied across the whole solid channel, DNA is driven through the channel in a stick-slip manner.
