Sometimes, when auto production/shipping are slack, empty cars are moved to unused tracks for STORAGE; sometimes (often?) those are not the same routes used for loaded movements... Simple, huh?

Hahahahahahahaha! You are so fucking dumb! Those cars are for transporting automobiles. I've seen them full of NEW CARS. I realize doing so real research on the railroad might get in the way of being crazy, but I think it would be a healthier hobby. Hahahahahahahaha!!!!

honestly, almost every night where i live in NE ohio, theres an old prison thats fenced in and really old train tracks that are still in use...on an average night me and buddy will hear a train(s) go over these tracks suuuper late at night, 2-3 times every day. its very odd. when this weather gets a little nicer, we're going to investigate.

@anonymoustruther1901 ive seen a train the other week in akron with about 50 military vehicles on it and been seeing a lot of military semi trucks in the area lately

Okay anyone that has had to stop to let a train pass know that those are carrying cars.... i live in lima ohio and the train runs right in front of my house with the same cars on it so believe me when i say THEY ARE CARRYING NOTHING BUT AUTOMOBILES!!!! IF THEY ARE EMPTY IT IS BECAUSE THE AUTOMOBILES WERE ALREADY DELIVERED!!! DUH

OMG are you realy serious?? FEMA train. ITS a TRAIN! they hall empty cars back when they dont have loads just like SEMIS do. WOW I have heard it all. Of course the military ships their vehicles on trains its cheaper. What are you paranoid of??????
