Really, this highlights for me the ridiculousness of rush hour. Everyone being required or thinking they should get in at the same time instead of staggering it causes a huge mess. Then again, staggered arrivals at the office would reduce co-working time. Our current method for getting stuff done is a mess.

Eerie, yet peaceful; serene even.

This has to be a weekend. That part is pretty dead at 7am on a Saturday.

Must be weird living in a city of millions, and then just a short bike ride early in the morning shows it being well, mostly abandoned.. Reminds me of the film I am Legend though, must have been quite a ride! thanks for sharing!

@Lahirien: The Sony HDR-SR11E and HDR-XE*** have got a very good stabilization and are full-HD. But the mine is defect, so I don't know how te stabilization is when it works correctly...
A steadycam is not as cheap as you think maybe...
-
Lol, people don't understand you or look weird to you if you don't have got a bike, here in the Netherlands.
-
Awesome! If you had had a steadicam and had done some tracking shots, this video would not have looked out of place in a movie.
Not a helmet cam, I actually held my video camera in my left hand and steered with my right. :-)
(And yeah that's the Chrysler building in the opening photo.)
