By www.AntqRestoration.com This is a beginner course for restoration of antique furniture finishes on DVD. This course will teach you the basics of antique furniture finish restoration. The same techniques used by museum conservators. Antique wood finishes are at the mercy of their environment. Damage can occur from us, our friends, pets, children, insects, sunlight, humidity, and other impurities in the air. Learn how to correctly restore scratches, dents and gouges. Restore missing sections of finish using only period materials. A finish left unattended will deteriorate over time. Help the existing finish to continue protecting the wood and extend the life of your antique furniture. Learn what products can be used on antique finishes, and products to avoid. You will learn how to protect your finishes from further damage. These are the same methods and materials originally used when the finishes were created. Only period finishing materials can be used that are historically accurate to restore antique furniture finishes. Localized damage can be corrected to continue protecting your antiques. The average person can perform restorative work with great results. The video clip you are viewing here is a preview of the 4+ hour course on 4 DVDs.http://www.AntqRestoration.com

  • Thanks.

  • Thanks, I just restored all my furniture I got at the flea market. NOT! This video is bullshit.

  • This was not MEANT to HELP; It was meant SELL you something.

  • I never liked being teased..

  • What the hell was that?

  • Just an advert,

  • looser wherre is the way to do it .. how ?

  • From the tone of comments on here, youtube is regarded as a something for nothing experience. Why do people never make the connection that if they want something worthwhile, then its more likely to have a cost associated with that. What is available for free on here is a bloke witha buck of shellac applying it witha brush on rough timeber and no detail on what the outcome will look like (propably terrible).
