Legendary pianist Bob Seeley at the International Boogie Woogie Festival in Ermelo, Holland - March 2007.
Both pieces played at the lively informal 'Pre-show' party, which offered up a great opportunity to watch this fantastic pianist close up.
Not sure what the two pieces are called - but ones mainly 'Stride' and the other an out and out 'Boogie Woogie' piece {and for all I know they were improvised anyway?!}
For those people who don't know, I hope Bob won't mind me saying he's now 79 years of age - truely an inspiration for those of us who think there's not enough time to learn to play the piano well.
Just great playing!!
But who is playing on the second piano?

Bob Seeley and Jim Hession make me feel ok about getting older as long as my playing is getting better....... :)

Hi, his friends have been trying to persuade Bob to get a new part time gig so there will be a place for people to see him. He doesn't want to in a smoky area anymore, and he is enjoying not being tied to a schedule, freeing him to do concerts all over the planet. Thanks for the positives. KD & Banjo

Thank you for identifying this song. I have about torn my hair out trying to identify it, because it sounded vaguely familiar, but could never quite remember what it was. "Taboo" by Margarita Lecuona, right? This is my favorite video on all of YouTube. Bob Seeley rules. Thanks again for the info. By the way, does he have a new gig? Because I'm coming if he does.

the tune is called "taboo" bob is a good friend of Mr. Banjo, my springer spaniel...he played at a place called Charlies Crab for 30 + years, then a new manager decided they wanted to try something new, and canned him, about two years ago; 1000's of people would travel to that place just to see & hear his amazing performances...
