B52 and Vulcan displays at RIAT 2009

Two of the iconic bombers of the Cold War flying at RIAT 2009. The two aircraft did separate displays but after landing; taxied up the runway together.

@lonelywolf1966 They certainly did. Both aircraft also flew at this year's RIAT but didn't taxi up the runway together this time (although the B52 flew overhead whilst the Vulcan was waiting at the end of the runway to take off).

Yes indeed! Vigo Spain...the beach was quite an incredible sight! It was a short 6 hours flight.

The size of the B52 is shown by the fact that the outrigger wheels extended out over the edge of the runway! The Vulcan is truly an incredible looking aeroplane though.

awesome video.. amazing to see XH558 with the B52... shows the sheer size of the B52... but no challenge for the sheer beauty of XH558!
