They actually use an instrument which is an icepick to do this, and the people only live for a very short time (oh pooh, not enough time to rip them off -ed), .. and if they don't die at once which many of them of course do, they won't let him out and they do other nasty things, they sterilize him, castrate him (or force her to have an abortion -ed), mess him up . Once thrown by a Psychiatrist into one of these death camps, HE CAN BE HURT, INJURED, OBLITERATED, GIVEN AMNESIA, DEPERSONALIZED, BATTERED ABOUT, AND EVENTUALLY KILLED. -- amazing how all that sounds like the FAIR GAME order that Hubbar himself introduced -editor

Scientology is a crime against humanity.

Regarding Haiti - Do you see Doctors Without Borders advertising that they're there and are saving people? It's assumed. The same goes for the Red Cross, the United States Military which is doing the real heavy lifting in Haiti and hundreds of other teams from dozens of countries.

Do any of them spend so much time patting themselves on the back for being there? Heck no.

Make no mistake about it, Scientologists' presence in Haiti is primarily as a publicity stunt to provide positive publicity in a sea of negative, and a chance to proselytize to a country that does not know much about Scientology.

I'm sure the Racist Hubbard would be thrilled to have brown Haitians hauling rocks for scientology. After all, it was he who said that the brown person is a great worker when given guidance, while lauding Apartheid South Africa... (Documented and taped in one of his "congresses".)

Shame on you, Scientology. Shame on you, Celebrities who allow your names to be used to further this evil cult.

@NomenNescioNY I agree with you on Scientology. I have, however come to the same conclusion about psychiatry as "Scientology" has, prior to even knowing anything about Scientology. Psychiatry mainly, really sucks. They do not know what they are doing. It more often than not, hurts people physically and mentally. It should be as voluntarily applied as a visit to or by a PSYCHIC READER. It works for those who buy into it.

I suppose the enmity between psychiatry and Scientology can be compared to the relationship between Nazi fascism and Soviet communism: Two inhumane , evil systems which nevertheless detested each other and pointed out each other´s faults whilst neither was better than the other.

However, scientology isn't there to help people. It's there to find your ruin and then systematically fleece you for anything of worth and imprison you mentally to work for the organization for pennies, while the people deluded into "receiving services" spend tens and hundreds of thousands.

@greatleaderleopold & @madbandicooot - I totally agree that there are and have been abuses, just like with any profession or any drug. For example, take a look at synthetic opiates (oxycodone, so forth which account for 70% of illicit drug use). Drugs can both help and harm. I have an opposite experience where "psychiatric" (anti-anxiety/anti-panic attack) medication has had a very positive effect in my life. Of course, there are side effects, but for me the positive ways out the negative.
