@cj89311 This is a strange argument but are you two going back and forth between the 1911 and the beretta and which looks better?

TODAY FRANK!!! For fucks sake

@peepeevagi I guess thats why its the most popular law enforcement and civilian pistol in the US huh? I guess a good looking gun gives it more of a tactical advantage than one thats been proven to function more reliably for about 30 years now. Good argument there.

@numetheus First rule of being a gun guy: 1911 is best, no exceptions. And it's not ugly in any light. To the point that it has become an inspiration for artists of every medium time and time again. Sorry if it sounds like i'm being a douchebag, but i refuse to budge on the argument. A 1911 NEVER LOOKS BAD D:<

First of all, learn gun safety. Never put your finger on the trigger unless you are ready to pull it. That means when you talk, your finger should be on the trigger guard or on the frame. Second ... modern handguns do not have clips, and neither do the original handguns. A clip is something used to keep bullets together to feed the internal magazine in guns like the M1 garand. It is a metal rod that bullets "clip" on to. It speeds loading. Some rifles may have clips. Your handgun has a magazine.

@usmcsniper45 Being a marine has absolutely nothing to do with whether you get laid. I have known some ugly ass marines that never get laid.

@peepeevagi Wow that has got to be one of the biggest douchebag comments I have heard in a long time. So, he can't have an opinion of his own and has to love the look of a 1911 because most people in the world think it is? He is "wrong" because he doesn't think so? Whether something is ... isn't beautiful or ugly is in no way a fact. Personally I love the 1911, but people can think it is ugly. It doesn't make them wrong.

I remember one of the 9s was a beretta, but can't remember what the other was.

I've only shot a couple times and I started with 9mm handguns and I think it was a Ruger .45. And then after I shot the Glock .45 and tbh it felt more comfortable and I don't know if it was exactly less kick or what, but just overall more comfortable. Is there a reason for this? Perhaps just the gun works best for me?
i am a firm believer in the 45. more power i would say.
