13% of horses that are sent to slaughter factories are event horses. The rest are sick, lame, old animals. As sad as this is, learn and study before you state your opinions.
btw half those pictures are just from abuse, not factories.

Horse slaughter keeps the market full of healthy, younger horses, and makes use of the horses that are killed. For many of the horses that pass through slaughter, they are on their last legs, and would have faced the even more horrible death of starvation and/or neglect. The methods of slaughter in the US were humane, but when too many people protested it resulted in horses being shipped longer distances where less human methods are used in Mexico. Bravo.

I hate people who bring their horse to slaughter. You have your whole life long a buddy for life and you know thanks him by him to the slaughter? everyone is always talking about how wrong the 2nd World War, well they are doing the same at these horses and other animals. and here they look not to, horses are the sweetest animals on the world if you give them a little love!

i am crying right now. honestly

i hate how people do such things like this if i had one wish it would be to stop or sorts of fucking abuse
theres people out there who want a horse more than anything and some who dont give a crap about em or the animals
ok, i understand that it is slightly better to put the horses down instead of letting a lame horse die in pain slowly. BUT IN FACTORIES THEY TORURE THE HORSES, WHY CANT THEY SEE HOW HEARTLESS THEY REALLY ARE.

@OneLittleWagtail I have a family because my wife loves my personality and my compassion for helping people, I was always immune to the fear in the animals eyes, and the blood will never stain my hands because I wear rubber gloves
