@muimrm Kuwait of course has its merits, including higher GDP and better freedom of speech than us, even though it's not a democracy yet, which is also remarkable. However, Kuwait has one thing we don't have, and that is a whole lot of oil. Same goes for Saudi Arabia. We manage to beat Saudis in GDP without having one drop of oil. You don't find that remarkable? Besides, if the U.S and USSR think we're their knights in shiny armour their wrong because traditionally Jews and Arabs get along.

Nothing remarkable about Israel, Kuwait has beaten you in the freedom of speech index, and your GDP per capita(28 000) is just over that of Saudi Arabia(24 000), a thirld country. I'd say it's a succesful country, but not remarkable, especially considering the only reason you even exist was because both the U.S and USSR wanted to keep in you in the middle east to keep the Arabs busy.
