@RIP302 Excuse me, I don't wanna say that i'm great on drums and all that shit (wich is not really true), but i'm 14, i'm playing drums for 2 years and a half and i can do that... in my opinion, it's just a matter of training (for the fast things).

@zarucarsha Personally I think he's just known for being a brilliant composer. He 'gets' music more than most others. Dan turns bands around, brings them to their peaks without even trying to. He's like a good director.

It's funny because 97% of people sit at the drums and go "boom chh boom FUCKUP" Drums are easy but only when you've been playing them for a long time... In Dans shoes, at 13 I had only been playing drums for 3 years and could NOT do what he did here.

Dan is a universal musician. He's good at whichever genre he plays. No to mention, multi-talented with various instruments and his voice is amazing. He's a living metal legend.
