People forget just how big this band was in the early seventies.

The fact is, no band was ever bigger than GFRxR was from '70-'72.

@PackedFunk sorry, but I love GFRR too, but saying they were bigger than Led Zeppelin in the 70's... They were fucking good, there was that case that the fans prefered their show than Zeppelin's, but they were never bigger or better than Zeppelin, it's just ignorance.

GFRxR was the biggast band in the world in both tickets sales & album sales in the early seventies. GFRxR was the first American band to earn 10 consecutive platinum albums, not Zep.

The Magic That Was Mark Farner & GFRxR!

This is what many people think Rock & Roll is all about. GFRxR was simple and they were crude and they rocked with a vengeance without pretense or apology. Their live show was 100% energy. It was raw and it was real. For all us who remember, nothing can replace it.

People are still in awe of this great but misunderstood American Band

Both of you should stop bitching at each other and just enjoy the vibe. Both bands were impressive, but we know that Abba was really the better of all three! LOL  er...just yankin' your collective chains! We played both albums in the basement and to this day, they were remarkable in every way! Thanks for posting this video!

@PackedFunk Obviously, Zeppelin is british. Zeppelin sold about 300 million albuns... It's known all around the world, GFRxR is very good, an excelent band, but stop being so fanatic, it's not bigger, and far away it's not better than Zeppelin. It's not about oppinion, it's about LOGIC.
