Good Job!

The E sounds so flat and dead, I doubt we will ever find cheap strings that sound amazing, the best bet is to just get Rotosounds I have had them for ages and they are the best strings i've played on a bass yet. better to pay for the quality in the long run... and they're not silly colours

hey, i just got my first upright and it's got steel strings on it. i'd like to switch... are these actually weedwackers or what kind are they> thanks!

I am totally digging the sound! Fantastic!

@Dorfdepp66 I'm going to buy a more expensive bass this week. Thomann Rockabilly -series look nice, maybe the white one. The black is just too dark.

what kind of strings do you use? i d like to save some $ !

So do you like the Thomann double bass? Was thinking of buying one myself
These strings aren't original Weedwackers (Cevlar core). I bought them in a shop for technical and industiral equiment in the diameter 4 - 3 - 2,5 - 2 mm! It sounds in my opinion very cool and the are very cheap. It takes about 3-4 days if they will keep the tune, because they haven't a core!

There are better basses like the Thomann's, but the quality is really good for the cheap price. The basses are very solid, so it isn't nearly possible to demage them. On stage I stand on it, and twice it fall on the ground an the bass works still perfekt.
