@walter0bz YES, you actually GET IT! So many people continue to act like there is NOTHING WRONG & that we can continue to consume at a growing pace every quarter! There is simply not enough resources! YES, we should have some type of restrictions on how many children folks should have or at least put a stop to nutty folks like the Duggars with their 19 kids! So many NUTS on the Right think it is the answer to our energy problems.When in reality it is the death nail for our climate!However, being realist even if the pipeline is never built the tar sands will kill the climate because now that they are being dug up there is no way to stop it until they are gone! SAD! My wife & I cannot have kids due to disabilities but we are almost sure now that is probably a good thing...It is not alarmist to say things R gonna get bad!

@walter0bz WRONG! The idea of "Peak Oil" has vanished now that Tar Sands have come on to the market...There is literally 10-100X the oil locked up in tar sands than there is regular oil. Global Warming will only get far worse due to this & is by far the most pressing issue of the day!

@C1Era No, but don't think that government involvement is needed. If we see companies dumping hazardous materials, STOP BUYING FROM THEM. Your dollar is your vote, and the government is telling you that you are too incompetent by creating the EPA.

@not8upwthit Yes, Scientists know that, but if you look at this supposed 'cycle' it is greater than any cycle we have ever recorded. The amount of carbon emissions has SKYROCKETED. This is NOT another cycle.
