Not only is the increase only 3%, the new 39% rate ONLY applies to the amount of income that is OVER $250,000.
This guy Joe is a perfect example of the kind of stupid people who vote for Republicans when it is against their own self interest.
This guy is saying that he would rather vote to keep his taxes at the rate they are now under McCain's plan so he can prevent someone who makes 4 times as much as he does from paying more.

this is obviously a set up by the Mccain campaign.. think about it! suddenly joe (six pack) aka "the plumber" suddenly asks out of the blue a very provocative question to Barack, and what do you know Mccain brings it up in his campaign debate.. but Barack rebutted this claim stating the really poor people will receive more tax cuts, which allow THEM ie you. to AFFORD joe the plumbers high prices.... do not be fooled by the obvious fear tactics.. the truth will be seen..namaste
