@mischakaido i think that space among what is considered semi professional and expert is small now. d7000 is all we all need. visit... freedslr . com remove spaces and get the chance to bring home a Brand New Nikon D7000

I have the D5000 its a very nice camera with easy functions to!
Although i like to configure my own setting before making a photo. (Im new to photography) but i am playing with it.
But i think it doesnt really matter which camera you buy because if this is your first dSLR you still need to learn all the basics.
So i say D5000, its alot cheaper.

@modengoAGAIN or even go to d5100, better than d90 and cheaper.

@Amcacs5654 Think the difference's soo small you should go for d7000 or d700, definitelly not d90. sell your old cam or buy new lens.

@Jules7892 - thanks for your extra info. The specs of the NIKON D3100 on a couple of sites (forgot which ones) said so. Your comments is Appreciated.
I have the D5000 and I kinda want a new camera. I don't have enough money for the D7000, so I was thinking of getting a used D90. Would you recommend that? I love the info displayed on the top of the camera on the D90.

I would like to buy the d90 but I don't want to spend a lot of money so I was thinking about getting the d3001... I have been told that just the first lens will cost the difference because the d90 can hold older lens. I am not taking it really serious I just want a good camera to take pictures when I need to... which I probably will start to take more when I have a good camera. Do you think I should spend the extra money? Thank you!
