  • do you have to use watercolor paper?

  • @mboyer703 Hello mboyer,

You can also use a smooth heavy cardstock. Thanks!

  • LOVE the technique! I saw that you used TH Distress Ink....can I use other ink pads to get the same effect?

  • @mcqueen16 Hi there! I have tried other inks, but unfortunately, I did not get the same effect. I suggest the Tim Holtz Distress inks, and light tones work best.

    Thanks!

  • Did you white heat emboss in step 1 or just use embossing ink as a resist? It came out really very subtle and beautiful.

  • @Lanastarling Hi! I white heat embossed the dictionary greeting first. Thanks!

  • I love this technique, but am having trouble getting the ink to cover the embossed area "evenly". It seems to skip over the embossed image. Any suggestions? I tried using a piece of fun foam under my cardstock when I stamped. Thanks!
