this is a paramecium under 400 times magnification i believe they are feeding on yeast...im in 11th grade zoology and 2day we were looking at these and i remembered i had my camera so when the teacher wasnt looking i put the lense up to the microscope and got this
Use the camera, as long as you carful not to damage the eye piece this should be encouraged. I use a simply point and shoot to photograph all my specimens i'm examining, not to mention you can save them, and create a beautiful study sheet with pictures for identifying prokaryotes etc.

Well, specifically, I wasn't telling you anything. In fact, if you look at the comment it was three questions. But if you want to read between the lines, I'm not sure how interpreted it that way. Rather, that when I was in school, if you happened to have a camera on you (regardless of whether or not people generally bring them), most science teacher wouldn't be bothered by the idea of recording your academic subjects.

When the teacher wasn't looking? Wow, they don't let kids in school record their work? What is wrong with our educational system today?
