The next day

[Sheryll walks down the stairs and into the kitchen where her parents are cooking breakfast]
DAD: Morning sleepyhead.
MOM: I made you an omelet and some biscuits. They're your favorite.
SHERYLL: Thank you.
DAD: How was your sleep?
[Sheryll settled down in front of her food]
SHERYLL: It was ok. I... dreamed of the accident.
MOM: Is that the only thing you remember honey?
[Sheryll's parents looked at Sheryll hopefully]
SHERYLL: Yes.
DAD: Sam and Sarah said they would be here soon with the boys; they don't have any concerts this week.
SHERYLL: Concert?
MOM: The boys are famous all around the world.
SHERYLL: Really?
DAD: Yeah. You should ask them how you met. Joe can tell a great story.
MOM: When you're finished you can go ahead and get dressed. Your father and I are going to do some cleaning today.
SHERYLL: Ok.
[Sheryll finished her food, and did as she was told. She looked through her clothes and couldn't choose an outfit. She was still staring into her closet when Sam and Sarah walked in]
SAM: Hey Sheryll! How are you?
SHERYLL: I'm fine, but I don't... know what to wear.
SARAH: [Laughing] That is so like you. You take forever to just choose what shoes to wear.
SAM: That's why I'm here. I can help you choose your outfit if you want.
SHERYLL: Do you usually do that?
SAM: On a regular basis.
SARAH: The boys are waiting downstairs for us.
SHERYLL: Are those "boys" famous?
SARAH: Yeah. They're a band called the Jonas Brothers. They are in the middle of their concert tour right now, but they come back here in between concerts.
SHERYLL: Why?
SAM: To see us.
SARAH: I'm dating Nick, the curly-haired one, and you used to date—
SAM: Joe, the funny one.
[Sarah glanced a Sam]
SHERYLL: And did you date the other one?
SAM: Kevin? Yeah. We've gone out before.
[Sam handed Sheryll her clothes and Sheryll went into the bathroom to change]
SARAH: Sam, I was going to say Kevin.
SAM: I know, but she seems to like Joe now. We don't have to tell her what happened between her and Kevin.
SARAH: Yeah, but Kevin might. Do you still like Kevin?
SAM: Yes, I do. And I don't want to lose him again.
SARAH: We shouldn't mess with her memory.
SAM: We're not. Relax.
[Sheryll came out]
SHERYLL: How do I look?
SARAH: Wow. You look great. Good job Sam.
SAM: Why thank you.
SHERYLL: Should we go downstairs now?
SAM: Let's go.
[They walked downstairs and the boys got up as they came into view]
JOE: Wow. You look great.
[He walked up to Sheryll]
SHERYLL: Thanks. You do too.
JOE: Do you want to go walk through Rodeo Dr?
SHERYLL: Do I like walking?
JOE: Not so much, but you do love shopping.
[Sheryll smiled shyly at Joe as Joe winked at her]
SHERYLL: Ok then.
[Kevin and Nick stood up and they all headed out the door. When they got there, fans and photographers immediately swarmed them. No one could tell which was which]
KEVIN: Come on. Let's head into that store.
[It was empty and when they looked around they found that they were in a restaurant]
JOE: Perfect! I was just getting hungry.
NICK: When are we not?
[Sarah and Sam started laughing. The boys helped the girls into their chairs. Kevin looked at Joe and Sheryll from the corner of this eye]
NICK: What do you guys want to drink?
SARAH: I'll have some lemonade.
SAM: I think I'll have a cappuccino. I need some caffeine in me.
KEVIN: What about you Sheryll?
SHERYLL: Umm... I don't know.
JOE: Why don't you try the strawberry smoothie? It's your favorite.
SHERYLL: Sure.
[Kevin gave the orders to the waiter]
NICK: So what are we going to do today?
SARAH: Let's stay on land. I don't think its safe to be in the water yet.
[Sarah nudged Nick]
SHERYLL: Why?
SAM: A couple months ago, we all went to the beach and a jellyfish stung Nick.
KEVIN: Yeah, and you drove us to the hospital just in time.
SHERYLL: I did?
JOE: Uh huh. You can drive pretty fast.
SHERYLL: Wow. That's cool.
JOE: So you really don't remember anything?
SHERYLL: If I did, I bet I'd be a lot happier.
SARAH: It's ok. We'll help you get your memory back.
JOE: I'll always be here for you.
SHERYLL: Thanks you guys. Thanks Joe.
[Joe smiled at Sheryll with bright eyes]
KEVIN: Anyone want pizza?
