This is a Trailor for my new mini hack of Super Metroid Blitz. It's a mini hack that combines boss rush with a door maze. You will often have to visit certain rooms twice, and conserve your energy for the next boss. I left in as few expansions as possible, but left in a good amount of what they give you.

I hope this hack can rival the Arena hack. It is a bit longer, and requires a bit more skill according to controlling Samus (wall jumping, speed booster, shine spark). I aimed at this hack taking about 20-25 minutes, opposed to Arena which can be done on average in under 15, and (with perfect control) in only 9 minutes. Also, as Arena left out the Golden Torizo and botwoon, I had fun making sure they were in there. Certain bosses were upgraded to compensate for having stronger beams.

I hope everybody tries it. So far there is no official release date. I'm still working on the small bugs, and perfecting battle areas. What you see here is version 1.3. The first released version might be hosted on ROMhacking.net, and will most likely be version 1.5.

  • Honestly, I was afraid when I first started learning hex. However, If you really need more enemies or PLMs, I would just suggest checking Metroid Construction for a guide on doing it. They have plenty of useful documents for Super Metroid Hax.

  • Ah... Yeah, everybody I asked went there, I found out though... I'm Not Into complicated things, so I just edit the properties that are already there :)

Hex Work = Something I shouldn't mess with XP

  • first, you'll want to learn about hex values so you know what you're doing. However, The easier way, which is very dangerous, and risks overwriting important data, you just have to go to edit>special>add/remove enemy/PLM.

    Visit Metroidconstruction[dot]com for more help.

  • nice... Im making a hack too!! and I have one question to ask... if you really wanna answer this... how do you make items? I know that some things you right click, it says type, you choose what it is, you set the values, but how do you put a item there?
