  • I look at it this way the FBI was his kid. He seemed very idealistic in some of his ideals I think that's what make's him seem like a mean dude. I certainly would not want his job.

  • I liked the movie. Anyone with a brain would ask how do they know he put on his mother's dress? That was kinda grabbing at straws. I felt so freakin bad for this man at the end of the movie I cried. You put yourself in his shoes? Who could he trust? Honestly and objectively? What a lonely freakin life. He must have had an IQ of 400?He poured his life into creating the FBI. You walk away respecting the man. Even after some of the mean shit he did.

  • @tomahawkboy0787 yes he is talented. I liked River Pheonix very much, also.

  • he is the best actor of this era

  • love dicaprio, didn't like the movie so much though

  • @GuerillaInThaMidst I want to find you and hug you for this comment.

  • I don't think he ever does acting, everything he does look so real to me.

  • I think that girl in the subdued pink clothing is supposed to be Shirley Temple in the movie. It was a major news story when she met J. Edgar Hoover and newsreels and photos were taken. One of the most famous child actors at that time and possibly ever. It would be interesting to see if they made that a part of this movie. I wonder if the real Shirley Temple met Leonardo. She is suppose to be a republican values conservative as I've read. Of course she would be much older now of course.

  • Yeah Dicaprio reminds me of those old glamorous actors he's a classic. I really liked him in the Departed. Can't really buy the Hoover thing tho. I still gotta see this movie though like most of Eastwood's movies. They're classics before you even see them.
