What happened to the Fokker Triplane used in the 1966 WWI aviation film The Blue Max? Well, here it is at the Chino California Airshow last May 15th, 2010, unfortunately...

  • That's a diamond in the rough. Hey does anyone know if any of the WW1 Fokkers had floats? or know of any float mounted ones?

  • This is simply amazing ! ..and lucky that this airplane survives .. I wonder why the authorities and other aviation enthusiasts don't arrange to have it displayed at the Smithsonian or other such place .. the U.S.A has given flight to the humankind, it is their proud privilege to save up this wonderful piece of aviation history, hollywood has done its bit !
