SoE was my first game too. Then came SoM, Zelda III, Terranigma. God, I miss these times. I wish I could just turn the time back... The SNES was the most awesome videogamesystem ever. Sure, graphics and shit developed, but somehow the games lost... their heartblood? I feel like it is always the same shit just an other skin.

Nothing will beat the 32bit-era.

It's the best looking, best sounding and best playing ARPG on the system, it blows the doors off of the Seiken Densetsu games and is criminally underrated.

@TheMetaphysic I know exactly what youre saying man theres something in these songs that just trigger something.. This was the first game i ever played in my life, i was 4 years old and i got hooked. Now in 2012 its still my favorite game its so badass, the music will ALWAYS bring back memories of those AMAZING times... Not a care in the world... all there was was my mom my world of Secret of Evermore and food haha thats it. I love this game so much

This music reminds me of Chrono Trigger for some reason. Not that that's a bad thing!

Secret of Evermore was mostly a bit of a comedy. Rather silly game. :-) However, with the exception of the Menu (I use this as the background music to my work most days, it's so unintrusive and relaxing!), you wouldn't know it from the tracks at the beginning. The main title, and podunk themes are extremely eerie.

I loved this game as a kid, but could never beat it because my copy froze in the castle. Not too long ago I bought another copy and beat it, what a great game. There were a lot of bugs to it though, and it's difficulty was a bit odd. Overall a highly underrated game with a lot of potential. This is one I wouldn't mind being remade to the extent where they just fixed the bugs and maybe made it 2 player like SoM.
