Good music to go to sleep to. Takes me back to a time where I had no cares in the world... Mom and Dad took care of everything, and my big brother Eddie would be listening to his music in the back yard.... I would listen and fall fast asleep........... Miss those days!

This has got to be my favorite doo-wop song!
I could sit and listen to it over and over concentrating on all the individual parts.
I could sit and listen to it over and over while lost in a daydream
It makes me want to dance
It makes me want to f*ck
And isn't that what a good song does: make you feel alive?!

Street light singing.....I was the only girl they'ld let sing.... thanks you so much
One of the greatest doowop songs by one of hte greatest doowop groups. Pookie Hudsons voice is so sweet and mellow and Gerald Gregroy is the ultimate bass voice

"Baby, It's You" is also one of my favorite songs. Period. This song is set at just the right tempo, with a slow, steady rhythm. Genuine Doo Wop. The Spaniels did a fine job with this recording. still sounds remarkably fresh.
I saw Aaron Neville in July 2000, on his way to a gig and asked him about his inspiration - the incomparable Pookie Hudson. He just smiled and shrugged, as if to concede the point. That was fun.
Thanks, for posting!
