  • @11thhourreprieve enough lets see this video for over 2mins he stuff is a crock of shit he praobley doesnt feed em aand there in small tank XD

  • well the last time they were fed and every other feed acts as a reinforcer. Your 13 second statement is a crock of shit lol.

  • @11thhourreprieve exactly my point triggers not the last time they ate

  • @zimbabwecornchip I didn't say you were stupid, what u said was stupid.me a youtube troll? al I did was state facts. A settee is a wide chair in the living room you can fit 3 ppl on. repetition isn't the key thing with food reward based learning. repetition only really plays a part when learning things like playing guitar or piano. with fish it's all about triggers, response, behaviour and reward. they rcognise faces but only ones that feed them will trigger any significant response

  • @11thhourreprieve yeah im stupid they learn through constant repitition and plus that is there personality my oscars do that too no matter what if i approach the glass they go nuts ok they are very personable fish they remember signifigant things like faces and people not the last time they ate they dont know by way of time they cant read clocks and what the fuck is a setee you obviously dont know what your talkind about so dont be a youtube troll

  • @zimbabwecornchip that's the most stupid thing I've heard. My oscars used to go nuts, get excited like little puppies, every time I got up off the settee. Obviously they hoped I was going to feed them based on past experiences. Considering I may have been sat for 30 minutes I think they remember longer than 13 seconds...

  • @tambostorm good point however this problem does not occur if you give a few hours inbetween

  • @zimbabwecornchip

And that said, yes oscars should be fed multiple times a day to grow fast, but what you recommend is going to cause problems. If the fish's intestinal tract does not empty between meals, problems can arise especially while young.

Training fish should be counted as a meal if food is to be used as the reward.

  • @zimbabwecornchip

Excuse me? Not true at all. I am a fish keeper and breeder, something I have done for over 15 years. YOU have had YOUR oscars for 3 months. I have had mine for ten years, spawned them multiple times and even had international buyers purchasing my fry. Recommending to feed an oscar every few hours as you do is stupid, it will constipate the fish. YOU seem to be the one relying on google, or worse yet, making it up as you go.

  • @tambostorm well acctually they do not remember insignifigant things like the last time they were fed so it will work and it really does ive had my oscars for three months and their pushing adult size i got them as babies they are very happy in there 150 gallon home so you think before you come on youtube and tell evryone what you learned on the internet "google" and whatched on tv.
