This video compares some characteristics of two traditional Swedish landraces of spring wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) named 'Dala' and 'Darlana' with the modern Swedish spring wheat cultivar 'Vinjett'. The field plots shown were planted for regeneration and characterization by the Nordic Genetic Resource Center (NordGen) at Alnarp, Sweden, in 2010.
The spring wheat ‘Vinjett’ mentioned in this clip seems to be released in 1998
and to be represented by the NordGen accession NGB13917 - according to the NordGen SESTO database.

... and also I like that you have included the cultivar name in text (in the video description) here in this clip. Perhaps the videos could even be given tags with the cultivar names - to ease the possibilities to find the video clips for example when searching for a wheat cultivar with Google. Next it could perhaps also be nice to add the accession numbers (catalog number) from the NordGen genebank collection...? And to add the link to the clip from the cultivar and accession page in SESTO ;-)

Very nice to SEE these wheat genebank accessions from our genebank in Sweden (Nordic Genetic Resources Center, NordGen). Even if these videos might not be approaching the general public, it seems to me a very good idea to make a short video story on each individual accession and link to (or embed) the video from our online genebank database (SESTO).
