scary, if your excited about losing the weight, then you may be devastated if you put some weight back on ... does anybody think about changing the mindset?

My hats off to you for your journey and your turn around.
You have always inspired me to keep going.
I am some what new at this still but so for so good.
I am so excitied about the health I have gained from simply cleaning up my diet and adding raw foods to my life style. I tell every one who will listen.
I hope weight loss will be a great side effect for me.
I have several people I know doing thr green smooties along with me.
I must lead by example.

@1t34h7 oh, gosh, it varies. on a good day, I'll start with a quart of green smoothie, then fruit in the afternoon, maybe fresh juice, salad for dinner, or maybe some cooked vegan something or other. I'm about 70-80% raw, on average. I have good days and bad. Right now, i'm starting on a master cleanse for 14 days. I really need to detox!

@winiver77 Hi, I usually put in 1 bunch of greens, I usually only do one kind of greens at a time but vary them day by day, as sold at the store or farmer's market plus 2 pieces of fruit, one of them is almost always a banana, and approximately a cup of water, just to cover the chunks of fruit. I first blend the fruit and water in the vita-mix, then gradually add the greens, increase the speed, run it on high for maybe 30-60 seconds, and drink it when it is all good and creamy.

hI - can you say what exactly you put in your smoothie weightloss. On my 4 day doing smoothies i know its early days but want to be sure I am using the right combinations of veg/fruit to ensure i lose some weight. for example i use spinach/kale,banana, mango... i wonder if this is too fruity for weight loss though...?
whre are you today in your goals.

@frugalnanny Yeah, uh, it's been a bit of a struggle. Currently, I'm 100% raw, not exercising but getting ready to start any day now. my minitrampoline broke. (bummer!) Just finished a 1 week juice feast, my first one, lost 7 lbs, sigh... had been dealing with stress, anxiety, and depression, and admittedly, using food, cigarettes, and coffee to cope. Right now, squeaky clean, and trying to make a real turn-around. thanks for asking!

I'm on a green smoothie diet right now and I love it!
I'm about to make some cultured vegetables so the probiotics will eat the sugar from the fruit in my smoothies and thrive in my gut, outdoing the bad bacteria. Majority of ones immune system is down in the gut. Napa cabbage and a probiotic pill or kefir grains. I'm gonna make some coconut kefir tomorrow along with my napa kimchee. Search any of the following Donna Gates Body Ecology Diet and 80/10/10.

@chucksheen Hi , I have a question about Kefir starter, is that made from dairy? I love fermented foods and kombucha. I have made kimchee a few times, and like it. cabbage, carrots, and jalapeños.
