1966 song by Melbourne teenage rock'n'roll group The Moods. 'Rum Drunk' is an Aussie beat/garage classic. It was released on the HMV label & I'm looking for a copy if anyone has one to sell. See my youtube for a clip of another Moods song 'Say Hello To Me'.
You can also read more about the Moods if you get hold of a copy of 'The Livin' End' vol 2 which was published in 1984.
Members were Peter Noss (bass), Kevin Fraser (vocals), John Livi (guitar & songwriter), Carl Savona (drums) & Mick Hamilton (rhythm guitar). They were pretty young; John Livi was just 15 when they recorded their 45s.
Always one of my favorite 60s tunes, it rocks!

I saw this band when they supported the Rolling Stones in 1996 at the Palais Theatre, St Kilda, Melbourne, Australia.

Yeeees! It´s really good! I love the sound from the mid 60s. No samples only raw, honest good music. Check, for example, up THE ZETTLERS from somewhere in Scandinavia and the tunes "Skinnie Minnie" and "Beautiful Delilah".
Thanks for uploading!
