I was a screech man for over 20 years so, of course, Doc was a huge influence for me. WOW, I miss the days when people were famous and in TV becaus they actually had talent and to this day there may not be a talent greater than Doc's. Not many players had both the range and technical profeciency Doc has. Even non-trumpet players could hear this in his playing.

I loved this! I've seen Doc perform live more than 30 times and remember Nancy singing with him. I recall a late 60's performance at the Ohio state Fair. She sang Okefenokee with Doc among other songs. Thanks for the vid.
