This doesn't appear to be a creative solution to the problem but merely a solution. Perhaps study abroad only improves your problem solving capability which is not in and of itself an improvement in creativity.

I lived for 12 years in France and I think it is tue that I became more creative due to that experience. You have to think on your feet a lot more when you are in another country. Also, you're free from the judgment and expectations of your "tribe". Lastly, you see new things and get new perspectives that help you think outside the box. I was already what you'd call a "ceative person" before my 12 years in Paris but I know that my time there made me more so.

Most people with Porsches are rich. So if I buy one, I will become rich too?

That's the problem with corporate intercultural theory...it is very reductive and simplistic. it is likely that creative people are more open to living abroad in the first place, so you can't really "prove scientifically" like the video says, that "living abroad makes you more creative."

Totally agree. We're living abroad right now after traveling long term. We've been making videos about it and posting them to our YouTube channel. Check it out!
