@rchkane Keep in mind that "Wide Sargasso Sea" isn't cannon Jane Eyre, but a seperate entity from the original story and characters- including Bertha Rochester.

@ALDERMANOFFOUNTALL I think, like most of us, she longs for love which makes everything in life brighter. And, as she says, she couldn't help it . . . the restlessness is in her nature. She wasn't complete yet, and until you are, you know you're ladking something but until you're fulfilled, many can't put a name to what it is they are lacking.
