This is one of my breeder Southeast Asian Junglefowl males in eclipse. The video was recorded in late September 2011. This junglefowl is approximately 50-60% pure.

You can see in the video that this male lost all neck hackles which were replaced by short black and short black/partial orange feathers.

In pure red junglefowl eclipses, the comb and wattles would have shrank significantly more and the neck hackle eclipse feathers would be pure black.

  • nice eclipse, and plumage. the bumble foot and spur is not jungle fowl.

  • @thonglredjunglefowl

Thanks. He's not pure, so there will be flaws. As with all living things, nothing is perfect.

  • Wow another beautiful bird you have. Excellent breeder. Wish you the best on this breeder.

  • @chiancha

    Thanks.

  • Looks good. Although he's not "pure" he still exhibits many characteristics of a true rjf. Keep it up!
