What is The Atheist Experience?

No we do not have 48 chromosomes. The great apes have 48. We humans have 46 because two chromosomes from the pair of 23 fused together to form a new chromosome (chromosome nr 2).- proof that we share common ancestry with the great apes.

Humans and modern apes share a common ancestor. Depending on how far back you wanna go, humans and lizards have a common ancestor.
