This was broadcast on the Sunday before the Thanksgiving Day weekend, 1987. That is indeed James Earl Jones voice as Darth Vader. I had a really good copy of this bumper on VHS until, ironically enough, four months ago when I just threw all my old tapes in the trash. D'oh!

Ah memories. That 1987 broadcast was the first time I ever saw Empire(I was only 3 when I hit theatres). Taped it on the VCR that night and watched it every Friday after school for like a year.
