If your laptop is overheating this may need to be done. Dust will build up on the inside of the heat sync about the size of a AA battery.

  • @GATOR187100 if my memory is right I beleave there is a small ribbon that gos from the motherboard to the circuit board with the power light, charge light, harddrive light, microphonejack, and headphone jack. Yep, maybe that's it. All that is on its on like inch and a half board with a ribbon connection. Let me know what you figure out and I help more if I can.

  • @yomothaWHAT Dust is bad... use more air to safely and gently remove dust.

    The G70-250US laptop is a very capable laptop but with a 17 screen it is not a lightweight. After 3 days of use these are my initial comments. The HP Imprint silver finish on the keyboard is very smooth which has a glassy feel which I didn't' like initially, but it may grow on me.
