Aww, it's weird, just watching this video comfirms my initial feelings towards Shirley as a person who's very good with children, and loves to play games with them, and pull faces etc. Don't ask me why, but I think she reminds me of Tonks from Harry Potter - again, don't ask me why, I just know she's spiritually, in personality, just like her. She's an entertainer, and she knows how to cheer people up. She cares about them as well. That's what I love about her. I would have her as my best friend

These photos are great, but as a mother, I just cannot wrap my mind around how Shirley MacLaine could let her estranged husband raise their daughter in Japan while she was in Hollywood pursuing a career, hanging out with the Rat Pack and traveling the globe. These photos show what appears to be a loving relationship, which makes it all the more difficult to understand.
