Gov. Jennifer M. Granholm visited Michigan's Upper Peninsula on August 19 and 20, 2010, including stops at the new ORV safety track and the Governor's Luncheon at the UP State Fair in Escanaba, and visiting Habitat for Humanity HiawathaLand in Manistique. While in the UP, Gov. Granholm also participated in the groundbreaking for Oldenburg's new technology center in Kingsford, spoke to community leaders at NMU in Marquette, and helped kick off the new War Memorial Medical Building in Sault Ste. Marie.
