Just installed yesterday 10 JULY10! This video features START UP, TAKE OFF, DRIVE BY (kind of) AND IN CAB SOUND of Magnaflow Performance Dual exhaust system # 16463. There isn't really anywhere to demonstrate the sound around here because of all the cops so I used a local mall parking lot. The exhaust sounds great at low RPMs (loudest at 1800-2000 RPMs) and it "mellows" out at cruising speed until you step on the gas. There is no cab drone. The exhaust sound reminds me of a Mustang GT with performance exhaust. It sounds muscle-car like and not "pingy" or like a rice burner at all. This exhaust has improved my fuel by .5 MPG and has increased my HP enough to be noticeable. I do feel some restriction from the stock intake so I will soon replace it. Overall, I am very satisfied. The install went quick once I had someone to help me out with holding the pipes in the right place while I tightened them. The stock system was a little tough to get out since I didn't want to cut it but a few smacks with a big hammer and it was out. Overall installation time was approx. 2 hrs with no experience and one break. I hope you enjoy it and check back soon for new modifications (intake, leveling kit, wheels & tires).

  • WOW! SOunds great!! Thats an 18 inch muffler too. I always thought they were too quiet, but I guess not.

  • @heatherandpaul2 It sounds great. Its not super loud but it is loud enough. The neighbors don't like it since I get home late but then again I don't really care haha.

  • @cw8307 haha, screw them boring neighbors

It does sound like a GT. Bad ass brother!

  • @heatherandpaul2 Hahha yeah screw them....thanks Paul

  • wow 18.6 avg mpg i ve never seen that number on mine haha

  • @aorabovich Haha yeah it did get that at one time. If you check out my other video you can see why I get about 14 now. These trucks are great on MPG's until you level them and stuff.

  • I am glad you put this video on here! I have a 2010 F-150 4.6 3 valve just like yours and have been trying to decide on which magnaflow system to put on it. Your video made up my mind real quick! Your truck sounds great, Thanks

  • @DMon2387 : It is a bolt on system with replacement hangers for the pipes. The muffler itself secures in existing bracket. The replacement hangers are the rubber hangers which can be a pain to mount. If you need help, or tips, just let me know. Basically you have to squeeze a round piece of metal through a very tiny rubber hole without tearing the rubber piece. It's a straight forward install. It didn't take long to do at all. I recommend a lift but floor jacks work just fine.

  • @cw8307 Did you have to weld anything or is it all "bolt-on" with the factory hangers?
