Bitter Roses- Ep. 7

Last one for the night ;)

**Nick's POV**
"I need you more than ever Nick." I smiled. It felt great to hear that from her. Even though I knew she meant as a friend.
"I'll be here for you SelBear." I kissed her head and played with her hair. She looked up at me with those beautiful sparkling brown chocolate eyes and smiled.
"Thanks Nicky." She said.
"No problem. Are you hungry?" I asked. She bit her bottom lip making her look so cute and nodded.
"How about some ice cream? Or would you like something healthy for the baby?" I smiled.
"I think some ice cream wouldn't hurt." She smiled and walked downstairs. I followed her. I made her her favorite mint chocolate chip and slid it over to her.
"Are you going to have any?" She asked. I nodded.
"Of course. Birthday Cake." I smiled. She pulled a disgusted face.
"So gross.." she said. I laughed.
"Yeah, well your milk chocolate chip ice cream isn't the best flavor either." I said. She stuck her tongue at me.
"Whatever." She mumbled going back to her ice cream. I smiled and I looked down at her stomach and it faded almost instantly. I can't beleive this all happened.

**Taylor's POV**
-One Month Later-
I leaned against the outside brick wall of the school. Hands in my leather coat pocket and I stared dead on at Selena. She was already showing. She was sitting at the end of Joe's truck with Demi and Joe in the back too. She was reading a book while having a chocolate shake. I smiled a little just looking at her. I feel like its been a year since she told me she was pregnant and we had that last talk. Or well, fight. But it was only a month. I sighed scratching the back of my head. She hasn't even took a look at me since that day. I am such an idiot. But finally, a little hope ran through my head. Selena set her book down and looked around the parking lot of the school and stopped when she saw me. I smiled. But she looked down and set her hand on her stomach. She flinched and lifted her head up and looked like she was in pain. I pushed off the wall and looked up at her worried. Joe and Demi sat by her side and rubbed her shoulder. I should be doing that.

*Selena's POV*
"Selena. Are you okay?" Joe asked.
"I'm fine. The baby is just kicking really hard." I groaned in pain. Really hard. This has happened a lot now. I feel like the baby is ripping up my insides.
"Mind if I..." Demi looked down at my belly. I smiled and nodded. She set her hand on my stomach and the baby kicked.
"Oh my gosh Joe it's just the greatest feeling. Feel!" She grabbed Joe's hand and set it on the stomach.
"Wow, everyone says this is a magical moment. I never thought I would believe it. But this is so cool!" He smiled. I giggled.
"Mind if I feel?" I looked up and saw Nick stand there. I smiled.
"Of course." I said. Nick carefully set his warm hand on my stomach and the baby kicked. He smiled.
"That's really great Sel." He pulled his hand away. I looked down at my stomach and rubbed it.
"Yeah. It is." I heard the first bell for school to begin. I stood up and groaned as the pain started to come back.
"Selena, are you sure you are going to make it through the school day?" Demi asked. A tear ascaped my eyes because it hurt so much.
"No." I admitted.
"I'll take you home." Joe offered up.
"Thanks Joe but you can't miss school. None of you can. I will just walk." I said.
"Selena, it's a ten minute walk." Nick sighed.
"That's not long." I shrugged.
"Selena, let me just take you or at least give you my car." Joe offered.
"No Joe, she shouldn't drive in pain. She could get into an accident."
"I'll take her." I looked up to see Taylor walk between Demi and Nick and towards me.
"Not like I haven't skipped school before." He shrugged.
"Yeah, I would rather carry her." Nick took a step forward. Taylor rolled his eyes.
"It's fine. It's just a drive guys." They guys nodded and walked off. Nick looked back with worried eyes but I just nodded. I looked back at Taylor who was already getting in his car. I stood there with my arms crossed.
"You coming or not?" Taylor asked a little impatient. I rolled my eyes and got into the car.
