I am an outsider but from what I've heard american kids are taught basicly only about american history, american georgraphy etc & not enough about world events & well obviously world geography, that was AUSTRALIA you where putting your little flags in numb nuts

ye i noticed that about america, but i guess its only fair because most countries teach more about their own history, but atleast here in england we do learn about other things than our crappy little island. lol offence to any ppl from the UK but i dont understand why we are so strong if all the countries are much bigger than us? can anyone explain tht to me?

Actually in 6th and 7th grade history its just about World history. And 8th grade is American history

It depends upon the school, Satan. I had a World Geography class in junior high. There are also those parents who promote learning, buy their kids encyclopedias, or National Geographic like my mother bought me.

this happens all the time. really no one knwos what they are talking about. they dont teach geography in schools anymore so no one knows where anything is.
