I met this girl, not your average girl, a lonely girl, we started to know each other, then going out... one day she heard the song and loved it. afther that she became my girlfriend... bottom line is that she had a hard life and the song reflects her life. especially the part "mom never holds me. dad loves a stranger more than me". and now she is my fiancee.
